Project Quantum was developed to address the client’s need for clearer portfolio visibility and stronger operational control. Information was spread across managers, custodians, and internal trackers; reporting cycles were slow; and inconsistencies made it difficult to maintain a single source of truth. Our mission was to build a unified portfolio reporting and governance framework that standardized inputs, reduced manual reconciliation, and delivered reliable insights across asset classes and regions.

Our approach

We began by mapping the client’s reporting cycle and governance routines — including monthly reporting packs, investment committee reviews, and exception handling. We then defined a standardized data model to align formats across managers and custodians, establishing validation rules and an audit trail to improve data reliability. A centralized reporting layer was implemented to automate recurring workflows (data intake, checks, summaries, and pack generation), while role-based dashboards provided clear visibility into performance, exposure, liquidity, fees, and operational risk. Practical documentation and handover sessions ensured the team could operate the framework consistently going forward.
